The Sea Girt girls soccer team moves on to the MCAL finals after an exciting win over Spring Lake Heights in the semifinal game this afternoon. Both teams played well in a back and forth match. The score was 0-0 at half. SLH took the lead 1-0, early in the second half. A beautiful shot by Camryn Begley tied it up and regulation time ended 1-1. Two scoreless overtime battles took the game to a shootout where Indira Zilioli made a spectacular save on SLH's first shot to give Sea Girt the edge. The girls will take on Manasquan, who defeated Bay Head in the other semifinal match up. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th (location TBD). Go, Patriots!
