Students in Sea Girt's 6th and 7th grade Math Expo classes have been exploring real world math applications. 7th graders recently explored careers and salaries. They created Linkedin profiles and participated in job fair interviews. Meanwhile, the 6th graders designed homes and made Zillow listings. They then "sold" them at an open house. These classes help students to see how math is everywhere, giving them real world scenarios to apply their mathematic skills.
